Exfoliating Sugar Scrub

This foaming sugar scrub is designed to gently exfoliate, nourish, and cleanse. Instantly, skin is left feeling softer, smoother, and refreshed. This formulation features Cola®Det EQ-154, a powdered blend of sulfate-free surfactants, to provide a mild foam and allow for a clean rinse-off. Also featured is multifunctional Colonial Monolaurin MB for enhanced emolliency, improved formulation stability, and antimicrobial benefits. To use: massage onto damp skin to exfoliate and activate lather, then rinse cleanse.

Procedure
- Add ingredient 1 to vessel and heat to 60 – 65°C.
- Once at temperature, add ingredient 2. Mix until completely dissolved.
- Cool below 45°C, then add ingredient 3. Mix until uniform
- Add ingredient 4. Mix until uniform.
- Add ingredient 5. Mix until evenly dispersed.
- Fill containers while fluid. Formulation will thicken over the first 24 hours.
Properties
Appearance at 24hrs: Thick mixture with visible sugar crystals
pH (10%): 5.0 – 6.0
Stability: Stable eight weeks at 45°C, 4°C and 25°C. Stable three F/T cycles.
