Cola®Cor 500
Water-Soluble Corrosion Inhibitor with Improved Hard Water Tolerance
Cola®Cor 500 is an optimized blend of alkanolamine salts of selected organic carboxylic acids. It is a highly effective, cost efficient, water-soluble corrosion inhibitor for ferrous materials for alkaline applications. Cola®Cor 500 is ultra low-foaming. It shows outstanding hardwater stability (up to 1000 ppm). The recommended starting level of use is 0.25 wt% in the final fluids at pH 9.0 (8.5 to 9.5) for optimal performance.
Cola®Cor 500 is suitable for applications in metalworking fluids (i.e., cutting and forming fluids, etc.), metal treating and protecting fluids, metal cleaners, and general rust preventative formulations.
